Chandrayaan-3: Vikram exceeded its mission objectives by successfully conducting a hop experiment, says SAC Director at ISRO

After transversing over 100 meters on the lunar surface from the Shiv Shakti Point, Vikram Lander has been set into sleep mode at around 8 AM IST on September 04. Speaking on the development, Director of Space Applications Centre (SAC) at ISRO, Nilesh M Desai has lauded the mission and stated that the Chandrayaan-3 mission’s lander Vikram exceeded its mission objectives by successfully conducting a hop experiment on the lunar surface.
