After transversing over 100 meters on the lunar surface from the Shiv Shakti Point, Vikram Lander has been set into sleep mode at around 8 AM IST on September 04. Speaking on the development, Director of Space Applications Centre (SAC) at ISRO, Nilesh M Desai has lauded the mission and stated that the Chandrayaan-3 mission’s lander Vikram exceeded its mission objectives by successfully conducting a hop experiment on the lunar surface.
