The Nigerian Law School has officially opened the application process for its 2025 Bar Part I Course. In a notice signed by Aderonke O. Osho, Secretary to the Council and Director of Administration, the application window runs from Wednesday, July 16, 2025, to Friday, August 19, 2025.
The programme will commence on Monday, September 2, 2025, at the Nigerian Law School Headquarters in Bwari, Abuja.
Eligibility for the Bar Part I Course is limited to Nigerian law graduates from Common Law countries whose degree programmes have been approved by the Council of Legal Education. The school made it clear that degrees earned through part-time studies, open university systems, long-distance learning, or online platforms are not acceptable for admission.
Prospective candidates are required to complete the application form available on the Nigerian Law School website at www.nigerianlawschool.edu.ng. Completed forms must be submitted via email to barpartone2025@nigerianlawschool.edu.ng no later than Friday, August 25, 2025.
Additionally, applicants must ensure that their academic transcripts, along with completed Forms B, B1, and B2, are sent directly from the official email addresses of their university and employer (if applicable) to reference@nigerianlawschool.edu.ng by Friday, September 1, 2025.
All correspondence must include the applicant’s full name and application number in the subject line. Late submissions will not be accepted, and all documents must be received within the specified deadlines.
Candidates are advised to retain their application numbers.
